2,3,4-Trifluorobromobenzene is a synthetic compound that is used in the synthesis of butyric acid. It is produced by the reaction of diazonium salt and fluorine. The liquid crystal composition of this chemical has been studied extensively due to its potential application in liquid crystal displays. The 2,3,4-trifluorobromobenzene can be used as an industrial solvent for sulphonic acids. The nmr spectra have shown that the 2,3,4-trifluorobromobenzene contains phenyl groups and chlorine atoms.
