• Descripción: Tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide is a cross-linking agent in rubber, which is used to vulcanize natural and synthetic rubber. It reacts with hydroxyl groups on the surface of the rubber particles to form a crosslink. The particle size of the product can be controlled by adjusting the reaction time and temperature. Tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide is also an aromatic hydrocarbon that reacts with fatty acids in solution to form a cross-linked chemical species. Tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide has an optimum concentration of 0.1 M for reactive functional groups such as hydroxyl or carboxylic acid.
