• Descripción: Trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate is a model system for polymers. It is prepared by the reaction of ethylene diamine and hydroxyl-containing compounds, such as methyl ethyl and allyl carbonates, in vitro. The polymerization process can be monitored by measuring the molecular weight of the product. This polymer has high resistance to sodium carbonate and radiation and has high values for water vapor permeability. Trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate also has film-forming properties that make it useful in coatings, adhesives, sealants, cements, and elastomers.
