• Descripción: Thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide is a thiamine derivative that has been shown to serve as a cofactor for enzymes such as peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase, which catalyzes the formation of peptide hormones. It also plays a role in the synthesis of polymers such as cellulose. Thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide can be found in crystalline cellulose and is an important component of two-way crossover studies on peptide hormones.
