Timepidium Bromide inhibits the release of acetylcholine from nerve endings, thereby reducing smooth muscle contraction in the bladder. This drug also has an effect on the heart, causing a decrease in heart rate and blood pressure, which may be due to its ability to inhibit sodium ion channels.
