Descripción:Thiogeraniol is a dibutyl, caproic acid and fatty acid that belongs to the group of terpenes. It has antioxidative properties, which have been shown to prevent cavities in rats. Thiogeraniol also has an acidic pH of 2.5, which may be due to its hydroxyl group and structural formula. This compound may also have antioxidant properties due to its hydroxyl group and structural formula. Thiogeraniol has been shown to inhibit oxidative DNA damage in rats by increasing glutathione levels and inhibiting lipid peroxidation.
