Descripción:
2,3,3-Trimethyl-5-bromo-3H-indole is a diarylamine that has been shown to be sensitive to irradiation. It has been used in vitro studies as a fluorescence probe. 2,3,3-Trimethyl-5-bromo-3H-indole also exhibits halogen substituents and is unsymmetrical. This molecule's absorption spectroscopy peaks at around 350 nm and it has optical properties that are sensitive to the presence of halogens. The 2,3,3-Trimethyl-5-bromo-3H-indole can be used as a sensitizer in solar cells.
