Descripción:
Thiazole-5-carboxylic acid hydrazide (TCAH) is a hydrazide derivative of thiourea that is being investigated for its anticancer activity. In vitro, TCAH has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis in these cells. TCAH has also been shown to have potent cytotoxic effects against both hepg2 cell and hepg2 cancer cell lines. The structure activity relationship analysis suggests that the hydrazide group plays an important role in mediating the cytotoxic effects of TCAH.
