Descripción

Titanyl Phthalocyanine (PtPc) is a metal-organic compound that belongs to the class of phthalocyanines. It has been purified through sublimation. Pt Pc can be used as a ligand for metals such as titanium, which is an important material in many industrial applications. This compound has been shown to fluoresce under ultraviolet light and can be used to study the properties of monolayers and bilayers. The Langmuir adsorption technique is used to measure the energies of PtPc at the interface between two phases, which are monolayers or bilayers.
