Descripción:Triethylene glycol diacetate is a chemical that is used as an antioxidant. It is a good candidate for use in polymer films because of its chemical stability, which has been shown in vitro tests. Triethylene glycol diacetate also has the ability to inhibit HDACs and can be used as a potential cancer drug. In addition, triethylene glycol diacetate has been shown to enhance the effectiveness of monoclonal antibodies and chemotherapeutic drugs by preventing the degradation of these agents by reactive oxygen species (ROS) and other free radicals. This compound also enhances the effectiveness of antioxidants such as vitamin E and vitamin C by scavenging ROS and other reactive species. Triethylene glycol diacetate has also been shown to have no adverse effects on CD-1 mice, making it a promising candidate for use in pre-clinical studies.
