TDAP is classified as an extremely hazardous substance by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. TDAP may also be found in some types of food packaging materials. Long-term exposure to TDAP may lead to calcium carbonate deposits on the lungs or kidney stones due to increased levels of boron nitride-induced calcium oxalate crystals in urine.
