Descripción:
1,2,5-Thiadiazolidine 1,1-dioxide is a heterocyclic chiral compound that can be used as an inhibitor. It has been shown to be an effective ligand for the cytochrome bace1 enzyme and is selective for enantiomers of cyclic compounds. The compound also inhibits the synthesis of ketimines. The compound is a quaternary ammonium salt with aryl groups that can easily be removed by hydrolysis to produce an enantiomerically pure amine. This makes it useful for the efficient synthesis of chiral amines from ketones.
