Descripción:3,4,5-Trifluorobenzoic acid is a carboxylic acid that is used in animal health. It can be synthesized by the reaction of hydrogen chloride and fluorine. The UV absorption spectrum of 3,4,5-trifluorobenzoic acid is characterized by a tetranuclear structure with maxima at 230 nm and 295 nm. The molecule has a carboxylate group. 3,4,5-Trifluorobenzoic acid absorbs light with wavelengths between 190 to 260 nm. This compound has been reported to have an analytical method based on LC-MS/MS for the determination of its concentration in samples prepared from the hydrolysis of benzoates with nitrous acid. This analytical method uses intermolecular hydrogen bonding as well as amines for sample preparation.
