Descripción:Tert-butyl propiolate is a trifluoroacetic acid derivative that is used for the synthesis of pleuromutilin derivatives. It is also used as a catalyst in the amination of amines with ammonium nitrate to produce organic solvents. Tert-butyl propiolate is an excellent nucleophile and can be used in asymmetric synthesis reactions. It has potent antibacterial activity and can be used to synthesize para-substituted epoxides, which are reaction products that have been shown to have antimicrobial properties.
