Descripción

The mechanism of action of 2,2,4,4-tetrafluoro-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-6-amine (TFDBA) is not fully understood. It is known that TFDBA inhibits the activity of HDACs and blocks the formation of nitric oxide from nitrite ions. TFDBA also has quinoline derivatives as a part of its structure and has been shown to have anticancer properties. The safety profile for TFDBA is good with no adverse effects seen in human clinical trials. TFDBA can be used to treat infectious diseases such as Kaposi's sarcoma and malaria.
