Descripción:
1-(2-Trifluoromethylphenyl)piperazine is a chemical compound that is used as an analytical reagent and has shown to be a 5-HT1A receptor antagonist. It has also been shown to inhibit serotonin uptake, which may be the mechanism by which it inhibits the effects of serotonin in the brain. 1-(2-Trifluoromethylphenyl)piperazine is not active on 5-HT3 receptors, but can antagonize 5-HT4 and 5-HT2C receptors.
