Descripción

H-Val-Gly-OH is a peptide hormone with a molecular weight of 438.3 Da. It is not an endogenous hormone, but has been shown to have metabolic effects in vitro and in vivo. H-Val-Gly-OH inhibits the synthesis of lipids and proteins, which leads to hepatic steatosis, as well as cancer cells. The inhibitory effect of H-Val-Gly-OH on lipid accumulation is due to its ability to inhibit the activity of various enzymes, including peptidases and lipoprotein lipase. This synthetic peptide has also been shown to have an effect on body mass index (BMI).
