Descripción:Z-Val-Met-OH is a high purity synthetic compound that can be used as a research tool in cell biology, ion channels and peptides. This compound is an activator of the receptor for bradykinin and has been shown to inhibit the activity of protein kinase C. Z-Val-Met-OH is also a ligand for the acetylcholine receptor and has been shown to inhibit acetylcholinesterase, leading to an increase in acetylcholine levels. Z-Val-Met-OH binds to the receptor for insulin and can be used as an inhibitor of insulin release from pancreatic beta cells.
