Descripción:CAY10594 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of MMP-9 and blocks the inflammatory response in bowel disease. In vitro studies have shown that CAY10594 inhibits protein synthesis by blocking cation channels and reduces inflammation in an animal model. This drug has also been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells, including breast cancer cells, by blocking epidermal growth factor receptors. The effects of CAY10594 are mediated through its interaction with basic fibroblast growth factor, fatty acid binding protein, and epidermal growth factor receptor.
