Penicillin G Procaine is a form of penicillin that is used to treat bacterial infections. It is administered intravenously or intramuscularly, and has a low potency. Penicillin G Procaine may be used in the treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis and other bacterial infections. This drug has been shown to cause cell lysis, which leads to the death of bacteria. Penicillin G Procaine also has a low toxicity level, with only mild side effects such as dizziness and nausea, which are generally short-lived.
