4-Bromobenzene-1,3-diamine is a chemical compound that is soluble in water. It has a high uptake rate and can be used as a dihydrochloride salt. This compound has been shown to produce polyoxometalate crystals when combined with the transition metal ammonium chloride. 4-Bromobenzene-1,3-diamine is also able to absorb large amounts of water and can be used as a homogeneous polymer. The transition temperature for this compound ranges from -60 degrees Celsius to 120 degrees Celsius. The morphology of this material is determined by the type of polymerization it undergoes and whether or not it is mixed with other polymers.
