Descripción:
Fluorene-1-carboxylic acid is a polycarboxylic acid that is used in the synthesis of other chemicals. It is a colorless, water-soluble solid that can be prepared by oxidation of fluorene with hydrogen peroxide and hydrochloric acid. Fluorene-1-carboxylic acid has been shown to cause acute toxicities such as gastrointestinal irritation, skin irritation, and eye irritation. It also has anticholinergic effects which may lead to symptoms like blurred vision and dry mouth. Fluorene-1-carboxylic acid has been shown to have an effect on molecular responses in the body, such as increasing the permeability of cell membranes. It also has an effect on autoimmune diseases.
