Descripción:Phebalosin is a natural compound that is extracted from the stem of a plant. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, and antioxidant properties. Phebalosin has been shown to have anticancer activity in vitro against leukemia cells. This activity is believed to be due to inhibition of fatty acid synthesis, which may lead to cancer cell death. Phebalosin also inhibits glutamate release from nerve endings and binds to the cell factor in cancer cells, resulting in apoptosis.
