Descripción:Barium Stearate is a chemical that is used in metalworking, as a lubricant, and for flame retardants. It is a white powder with a melting point of 220°C. Barium Stearate has been shown to be an effective lubricant for the production of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This chemical also has high thermal stability and low temperature coefficient of thermal expansion. Barium Stearate is insoluble in water and can be used to control particle size in polymer blends.
