Cytochrome p450 inhibitors are molecules that inhibit the activity of cytochrome p450 enzymes which are involved in the metabolism and elimination of many drugs and toxic compounds from the body. 2-Methoxycarbazole inhibits the enzyme thiocyanation by binding to it.
