Descripción:N,N-Dimethylmethacrylamide is a monomer that is used in the polymerization of polymers. It can be copolymerized with other monomers to form polymers with different properties. The chloride ion provides the reactivity needed for this polymerization and it can also be polymerized with an inorganic acid such as sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid. N,N-Dimethylmethacrylamide has been shown to have properties that are similar to those of an amide, which is a molecule made up of a nitrogen atom and two carbonyl groups. The bond cleavage reaction can be induced by the addition of an enolate, which is a negatively charged carbon atom that binds to the molecule's positive charge. This leads to the formation of a new bond between the broken bond and another molecule.
