Descripción

Arjunic acid is a natural compound found in the urine of Chinese patients with cancer. It has been shown to have potent anti-tumor properties, inhibiting the growth and proliferation of cancer cells through its ability to inhibit kinase activity. Arjunic acid has been found to be an effective inhibitor of methotrexate analog kinases, which are involved in the regulation of cell growth and division. In addition, arjunic acid has demonstrated apoptotic effects on human cancer cells by inducing apoptosis through the inhibition of trypsin-like protease activity. Studies have also suggested that arjunic acid may enhance the anti-cancer effects of astaxanthin, a carotenoid known for its antioxidant properties.
