Descripción:NCI172112 is a human immunoglobulin that has been genetically engineered to be resistant to proteolytic degradation by serine proteases. It binds to the surface of cancer cells and blocks the growth of tumor cells in culture. NCI172112 has also been shown to reduce cardiac hypertrophy in animals, which may be due to its ability to decrease fatty acid levels in the heart. The covalent linkage between NCI172112 and human serum albumin prevents it from being easily degraded by enzymes in the body. NCI172112 has also been shown to have a diagnostic effect on cancerous tissue and can be used as a treatment for cancer.
