Descripción:
Bromofuran-2-one is an organotin compound that is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other organic compounds. The compound has a sequence of reactions that can be controlled by the substitution of the chloride group with a variety of functional groups. Bromofuran-2-one has been shown to undergo a Suzuki coupling reaction with an olefin, which produces a substituted furanone product.
