Descripción:YM 264 is a synthetic compound that has been shown to activate neutrophils and platelets. The mechanism of action of YM 264 is complex, but it may be due to its ability to bind to the factor receptor, which activates the neutrophil granule release reaction. YM 264 also interacts with monocytes and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) in vitro. This interaction may be responsible for the neutrophil activation observed in vivo. YM 264 can also induce platelet activation and aggregation in vitro, as well as in vivo.
