Descripción:Ory-1001 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the HL-60 leukemia cell surface protein CD22, which is a receptor for the B-cell growth factor. Ory-1001 inhibits the binding of this growth factor to its receptor, thereby inhibiting cell proliferation and migration. Ory-1001 has been shown to eradicate leukemic stem cells in vivo and inhibit tumor growth in vitro. The drug has also been shown to have cardioprotective properties, likely due to its ability to inhibit the production of cardiac growth factors.
