Descripción:SH5-07 is an active analog of the drug survivin. It binds to DNA, inhibiting the synthesis of proteins that are vital for cell division and growth. SH5-07 has been shown to have a strong inhibitory effect on tumor xenografts in mice and human prostate cancer cells.SH5-07 has also been shown to bind specifically to the DNA binding domains of survivin and inhibit its activity, which may be due to its similarity to the molecule's binding site.
