Descripción:Lith-o-Asp is a glycan that inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to the extracellular domain of mammalian cell surface receptors. This binding blocks the interaction between the receptor and its ligand, which is necessary for tumor growth. Lith-o-Asp has been shown to inhibit angiogenic growth in pancreatic cancer cells and suppress tumor growth in vivo. It also binds to glycoconjugates on the surface of cancer cells and inhibits tumor progression.
