CRT0066101 is a selective, potent inhibitor of the protein kinase c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and has been shown to have anti-tumor activity in vitro and in vivo. CRT0066101 targets the JNK signaling pathway, which is involved in the regulation of cancer-related genes. When this drug binds to JNK, it prevents its activation by phosphorylation. This inhibition leads to an increase in apoptosis, cellular differentiation, and cell cycle arrest. CRT0066101 also inhibits c-Jun and junD gene expression in cancer cells. The effective dose for this agent is between 0.1 and 1 mg/kg body weight per day when administered orally or intravenously.
