Descripción:Ani 9 is a cytosolic calcium ionophore that inhibits the activation of chloride channels. This drug has been shown to inhibit spontaneous activity and whole-cell recordings in experimental models. Ani 9 has also been shown to have anticancer activity in human cancer cells and to have an inhibitory effect on heart disease. Ani 9 is expressed in the bronchial epithelium, which may be related to its anticancer activity.
