Descripción:Alkyne cholesterol is a reactive molecule that is capable of producing the cholesterol acyltransferase enzyme by activating the fatty acid chain. Alkyne cholesterol is synthesized in caco2 cells and can be used as a diagnostic agent for influenza virus uptake. The enzyme produced by Alkyne cholesterol has also been shown to have localized membrane interactions, which may be due to its ability to activate membrane-bound enzymes leading to changes in lipid composition.
