It can be used to treat diabetic neuropathy by activating sensory neurons and increasing their sensitivity to pain stimuli. 3,3-Dimethylbutyryl Chloride also binds with butyric acid, which activates the sensory neurons, leading to increased sensitivity to pain stimuli.
