Descripción:Dimethyl 3-thiaadipate is a monomer that is used in the synthesis of polybenzimidazole sulfide. This monomer has been shown to be an anti-oxidant, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals. Dimethyl 3-thiaadipate can also act as a membrane stabilizer and has thermal stability up to 300°C. Dimethyl 3-thiaadipate is highly soluble in most solvents and has low volatility. It is not a reactive compound and does not form hydrogen bonds with other molecules, making it an unreactive reagent.
