Descripción:Quinazolin-6-ol is a quinone that is synthesized by the reaction of anilines and phthalic acid. Quinazolin-6-ol inhibits NF-κB transcriptional activity in vitro, which may be due to its ability to bind to the heme moiety of the protein. This compound has been shown to have antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria such as Phytophthora, but not Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus or Bacillus cereus.
