Descripción:Tc-G 24 is a small molecule that inhibits the enzyme phosphatase. It activates β-catenin and glutamate, which are proteins that regulate cell growth and survival. Tc-G 24 also inhibits pim-1 kinase, which is an enzyme that regulates the activation of phosphatases. Tc-G 24 has been shown to be neuroprotective in cerebral ischemia models by inhibiting reactive oxygen species (ROS) mediated damage. This drug has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of proteasomal activity.
