Descripción:4-bromoquinolin-3-ol is a piperidine derivative that belongs to the group of pyrrole derivatives. It is primarily used as a reagent in organic synthesis and in the preparation of 3-bromo-5-hydroxypyridine, 2-amino-4-hydroxypyridine, and 3-amino-2-bromopyridine. 4BQ3H is an isomeric nucleus with substitutions on the 2-, 4-, or 6 positions. The hydroxy group on the 3 position can be substituted with a variety of groups such as methoxy, ethoxy, or acetoxy. The oxindole moiety can also be replaced by a piperidide moiety. Note that the aminations are reversible under basic conditions.
