Descripción:This compound is a selective hydrogenation catalyst with a high degree of selectivity for the reduction of chlorinated aliphatic and aromatic compounds. The catalyst can be immobilized on different supports, such as palladium on alumina or carbon. It has been shown that the nature of the support has an effect on the catalytic activity and selectivity. This immobilized catalyst is more stable than unsupported catalysts and it can be used in batch processes.
