Información del producto
Ansatrienin A is a cyclohexane ring compound that belongs to the class of dihydro-1,2-benzopyran. It is a natural product isolated from the wild-type strain of Penicillium anserina and has shown inhibitory effects on protein synthesis. Ansatrienin A binds to metal ions and forms stable chelate complexes with them. This binding prevents the formation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by scavenging reactive oxygen radicals, which are generated during cellular metabolism. Ansatrienin A also inhibits fatty acid synthesis by inhibiting acetyl-CoA carboxylase, which is an enzyme involved in the first step of fatty acid biosynthesis. Ansatrienin A has been shown to inhibit pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNFα through inhibition of protein synthesis, which leads to decreased production of these cytokines.
