Descripción:OG-L002 is a chemical inhibitor that has antiviral potency against herpes simplex virus. This compound has been shown to inhibit the activity of glycosylase, which is an enzyme that catalyzes the removal of sugar residues from proteins. The antiviral potency of OG-L002 is dependent on the lysine methylation status of its target glycosylase. OG-L002 also inhibits transcriptional regulation in liver cells and tumor cells, which may be due to inhibition of the TNF-α pathway.
