Descripción:CP-96345 is a peptide hormone that inhibits the release of inflammatory substances, such as substance P and prostaglandin E2. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of bowel disease, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as infectious diseases. CP-96345 inhibits neurokinin-1 receptor activation by binding to it and blocking its access to substances. This inhibition leads to an inhibition of the release of substance P, which is an important mediator for pain, inflammation, and disease activity. CP-96345 has also been shown to have cardioprotective effects in animal models by reducing oxidative injury caused by ischemia/reperfusion injury.
