Descripción:5-Nonyloxytryptamine oxalate is a molecule that has been shown to regulate the levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) in the brain. It also has been shown to promote axonal growth and inhibit excitotoxicity. 5-Nonyloxytryptamine oxalate binds to the 5-HT7 receptor, which stimulates the release of calcium ions, leading to a Ca2+ signal. The binding of this molecule to the 5-HT2A receptor leads to an increase in cancer cells, while its binding with the 5-HT1A receptor helps regulate glutamate and norepinephrine levels.
