Descripción:N-Hexanoylsphingosylphosphorylcholine (NHCPC) is a phospholipid that has been shown to have synergistic effects on cells. NHCPC has been shown to inhibit the growth of Leishmania and has anticancer activity in cervical cancer and breast cancer cells. It also inhibits protein transport, which may be related to its effects on cancer cell proliferation. This drug is water soluble, making it more easily absorbed by the body than other lipid-soluble drugs. The uptake of NHCPC by cells is also pH-dependent.
