• Descripción: LDN-212854 is a human immunoglobulin that blocks the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and inhibits TLR4 signaling pathways. It has been shown to have an effect on several types of cancer, including prostate, breast, and lung cancer. LDN-212854 also has pharmacokinetic properties that allow it to be used in both intravenous and subcutaneous injections. LDN-212854 binds to TLR4 receptors in the cells of the immune system by interfering with the binding of LPS, which is a molecule found on the surface of gram negative bacteria. This prevents activation of TLR4 signaling pathways downstream from LPS binding. LDN-212854 also blocks IL-1β production by inhibiting NFκB activation in response to LPS stimulation.
