Descripción:CL-82198 is a potent inhibitor of Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. It induces the expression of genes that are up-regulated in both bowel disease and cancer tissues, such as collagen, protease activity, and epidermal growth factor. CL-82198 also inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNFα. CL-82198 is currently being studied for its potential use in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy and inflammatory bowel disease.
