Descripción:ISAM-140 is a benzimidazole derivative that has been shown to inhibit the uptake of adenosine in the brain. It binds to adenosine receptor subtypes and blocks the binding of adenosine, which is an important regulator of many physiological processes. ISAM-140 has been shown to be effective against cancer cells and may have potential as an anti-cancer drug. ISAM-140 also inhibits the proliferation of hyperproliferative cells and can be used for treating autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. This drug has not been tested on humans yet, but it has been shown to be safe in animals.
